Dear Friends,
I
NEED YOUR FINANCIAL HELP! On
every major issue, including the Iraq war, the
Bush Administration gets an F. Their
lies have mislead all Americans. It is time
to give a pink slip to the entire Bush Administration.
This failed administration has shown us its
priorities with record deficits that have left
our children behind, squeezed out the middle
class, exported our jobs, and barred the elderly
from buying much needed accessories such as
eye glasses, hearing aids, and dentures. We
can do better! WE CAN DO BETTER!
The 2004 Election is a crucial
time in America’s history, especially
as it relates to our civil liberties! For the
past three and a half years, the world has designated
my home state of Florida as the place where
the 2000 presidential election was stolen.
Yet, here in the United States, if one Member
of Congress attempts to address the horror of
that election, a gag order in the Republican
controlled Congress prevents the Member from
speaking out! I know; because when I tried to
speak out the truth on the House Floor recently,
I was censured by the Republican House leadership,
and my words were stricken down. It was an attempt
to silence me, and it was an insult to
every American who values their right to free
speech!
Over 189,000 African
American votes were tossed out in the 2000 Florida
election, but we are told to be quiet
and to get over it! WE MUST SPEAK OUT
ABOUT IT! WE WILL NOT BE GAGGED; WE WILL NOT
LOSE OUR FREE SPEECH; WE WILL NOT LOSE OUR RIGHT
TO VOTE AND TO HAVE OUR VOTE COUNTED! I
will continue to spearhead the fight to speak
out the truth and to protect civil liberties
for all Americans. Currently, I am working with
lawyers, ministers, professionals, elected officials,
and the citizens of our communities to ensure
a fair 2004 Election. It is a huge job, and
the cost is enormous!
People across the nation have
expressed their interest in helping us in Florida
with the 2004 Election. We welcome your help;
